Family, Fun, and (More) Electrical Runs!
Another trip, another project, and this time we had a special helper: my cousin's son joined our crew! Our mission for the week was to tackle some serious electrical upgrades. We needed to run additional electrical cable reticulation to both the sun room and the second bathroom's toilet area. This included installing new light fittings and, of course, getting everything properly connected to the main DB board. Let's just say, there were a lot of wires involved!
My son also took on a slightly less glamorous but equally important task: removing a damaged and totally redundant satellite dish from the back kitchen wall. Honestly, it had been an eyesore for ages, and since we hadn't used it in years, it was high time it went!
This was a week-long visit, and while we definitely got a lot of work done, it was also incredibly peaceful. We cherished the bonding time as a family, making memories while making improvements. It's always a good feeling to blend productivity with quality time, and this trip was a perfect example of that balance.
