A Quick Recharge and a House Check-up

Another escape from the daily grind was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries and tackle a full house inspection. While my dad couldn't make it again this time, we had some crucial things to check on. We even swapped out our trusty Toyota Camry for my wife's Toyota Corolla since we weren't towing a trailer.

Everything was in good order, and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our son's 17th birthday. It's always a bonus when his birthday lines up with our trips to Brandvlei during the school holidays – a win-win for everyone! We took the opportunity to assess what projects are next on the list for the house, making the most of our time away.
