A lick of paint, Easter 2016!

We took another trip up to Brandvlei for the Easter weekend, and while there weren't any major renovation breakthroughs, we definitely made some progress on keeping the place looking sharp. We spent a good chunk of time painting walls, which, honestly, is always a satisfying way to make a house feel fresh and clean.

It was less about big developments and more about enjoying a much-needed break from the city grind. Sometimes, just getting away and tackling those smaller, noticeable improvements is exactly what's needed. It's those little wins that keep the momentum going, even when the bigger renovation projects are on hold. Plus, there's nothing quite like the peace and quiet of Brandvlei to recharge the batteries!
